DiaSorin’s shares are listed on the Mercato Telematico Italiano (“MTA”), managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A., and make up the following indices:
FTSE MIB Index
The FTSE MIB Index is the primary benchmark index for the Italian equity market and represents the large cap component of the FTSE Italia All-Share Index. Capturing approximately 80% of the domestic market capitalisation, the FTSE MIB Index measures the performance of the 40 most liquid and capitalised Italian shares.
FTSE ITALIA All-Share
The Index comprises of all constituents in the FTSE MIB, FTSE Italia Mid Cap and FTSE Italia Small Cap indices.
FTSE Italia PIR Benchmark
The FTSE Italia PIR Benchmark Index comprises of constituents of the FTSE MIB Index excluding foreign shares and constituents of the FTSE Italia PIR PMI Plus Index. The index is designed to reflect the requirements of Italy’s new law on tax-advantaged personal savings plan “Piani Individuali di Risparmio” (PIR). In order to maintain compliance with the PIR Law, the aggregate weight of constituents from the FTSE MIB Index is capped at 60%.
FTSE Italia PIR Benchmark STAR
The FTSE Italia PIR Benchmark Star index comprises constituents of the FTSE MIB Index excluding foreign shares and FTSE Italia PIR STAR Index. In order to maintain compliance with the PIR asset allocation constraints, the aggregate weight of constituents from the FTSE MIB Index are capped at 60%.
FTSE Italia PIR Large & Mid Cap
The FTSE Italia PIR Large & Mid Cap Index is a benchmark index for the Italian equity markets, measuring the performance of Italian large and mid capitalisation companies suitable for the personal savings plan (PIR) Law introduced in Italy in 2017.
